How to Change the Time Zone in WHM/cPanel Server

Sometimes, you may need to change the time zone of your WHM/cPanel server. In this guide, we’ll show you how to do it step by step.

Step 1: Log in to WHM

First, log in to your WHM (Web Host Manager) with root privileges.

Step 2: Search for Server Time

In the WHM search box (top left corner), type:

Time / Server Time

From the search results, click on Server Time.

Step 3: Change the Time Zone

On the Server Time page, you will see a drop-down menu for Time Zone.

• Select your desired time zone from the list.
• Click on Change Time Zone to apply the changes.

Step 4: Sync with Time Server (Optional)

For better accuracy, click Sync Time with Time Server to synchronize your server time with the default NTP (Network Time Protocol) server.

Important Note

If the server goes down or restarts unexpectedly, sometimes the time zone may reset.
